Brother of Dorothy and Bob Mainland of Mount Forest, Keith and Diane Gowing of R.R.#1, Elora, Lyle and Lynnette Gowing of Kitchener, Douglas and Sheila Gowing of Monkton, Bernice and Don Oldenburg of Tavistock, Neil and Kay Gowing of Waterloo, Wayne Gowing of Edmonton, Alberta, Lois and Steve Thur of West Montrose, and brothers-in-law Harold Ellis and Arthur Woinoski. Predeceased by his parents Morley and Vera (Kincade) Gowing, his sisters Evelyn and Doris, sister-in-law Katie Gowing and brother-in-law Ross Jackson. Friends and relatives called at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Friday, October 2, 2009 from 7-9pm. The funeral service was held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 11am.
