Goodwin, Harold John (Tex); of Drayton passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the Royal Terrace Nursing Home, Palmerston on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 in his 85th year. Loving husband of Norma (Welsh) Goodwin for 64 years. Dear father of Sandra and her husband Don Fosbury of Kemble, Susan and her husband Phillip Moore of Drayton,
David Goodwin and his wife Bonnie of Norwood and Dan Goodwin and his wife Joann of Palmerston. Grandfather and great grandfather of Shannon Woodworth and Dwayne Cofone and Evan, Sean Fosbury and Tracey Brown; Stephen Moore, Scott and Amanda Moore, Zach, Josh and Zoey, Jason and April Moore, Meagan, Averie, Mylie and Lanie, Jeremy and Karen Moore and Tyson, Crystal and Gord Raynard, Allison and Elizabeth; John Rothernel and Evan. Brother of Mildred Kelleher, Velma Brown, Marjorie Luce, Grant Goodwin and his wife Marlene, Leonard Goodwin and his wife Shirley and Shirley and her husband Les McGowan. Predeceased by his parents Marvin and Edna (Fletcher) Goodwin, one brother Ralph, three sisters Dorothy, Muriel and Evelyn. To honour Harold’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Rev. Jeff McCracken conducted a Memorial Service of Remembrance in Celebration of Harold’s life in the Drayton United Church on Friday, September 2, 2011 at 1pm.
