GOETZ, Patrick (Pat) John: Peacefully passed away with family at his side on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Grand River Hospital – Kitchener at the age of 68. Pat was a Retired Manager, Traffic and Logistics Collins & Aikman, Kitchener, ON. He was a former resident of Kenilworth, ON and Kitchener since 1993. Pat was born October 10th, 1948, and is the son of the late Harold David Goetz and Viola Theresa Mansfield of Kenilworth, ON. His beloved wife Shirley (Bray) predeceased him on June 10, 2002. Pat is fondly remembered by many cousins and their families. He was a faithful member of Blessed Sacrament Parish and an avid Toronto Argonaut Fan. Pat’s family received relatives and friends from 2 – 4 p.m. & 7 – 9 p.m. with parish prayers at 8:30p.m. on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Sacred Heart Church – Kenilworth, Ontario on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Interment followed at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Kenilworth followed by a reception in the parish hall. Special thanks to Dr R. D’Souza, Dr. M. Chamberlain and Dr. Hakim and 5th Flr staff at Grand River Hospital as well as the Clair Hills Retirement Community staff for their compassionate care.
