GIMBLET, Marion Iva Louise, (Kells), formerly of Arthur, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Caressant Care Nursing Home, Harriston on Thursday, May 5, 2016, in her 93rd year. Cherished mother of Nancy Dietrich of Harriston, Gordon Gimblet of Arthur Twp, Lynn and Stan Elliott of Moorefield and her daughter in law Betsy Gimblet of Pike Lake. Special grandmother of Cindy Brunkard, Bernice Taylor, Rob Gimblet, Cheryl Gimblet, Mary Ann Jackson, Will Gimblet, Louis Elliott and Jake Elliott. Fondly remembered by her 12 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Bert Gimblet in 1994 and son Bill Gimblet in 1997, her daughter-in-law Pam in April 2016 and by her 6 siblings Mae Stickney, Clifton and Lloyd Kells, Lyla Martin, Irene Kelley and Grace Wilker. The family received friends at the Crawford Funeral Chapel, 243 George Street Arthur on Friday, May 6, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. & 7 -9 p.m. Rev. Gail Clarkson conducted the Funeral Service in the Arthur United Church on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment in Greenfield Cemetery. As expressions of Sympathy donations to the Arthur United Church, Palmerston Hospital Foundation, Greenfield Cemetery or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
