Peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener, surrounded by her family on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Art Gibson (2019). Loving mother of Ron and Heather, Paul and Sharon, Jack and Cindy, and Heather and Randy. Cherished and very loved grandma and great-grandma of Amanda and Ben, and their children Tucker, Tori and Bella; Jason and his children Taylor and Ava, and his partner Cindy, and her children Jordan, Makayla and Taylor; Jeremy and Sam, and their children Sophia and Amelia; Jeff and Kelly, and their children Graydon and Chloe; Jenna and Scott, and their children William, Graham and Ryan; Lisa and David, and their children Cruz and Vance; Ryan and Nicole; Alyssa and Scott and their children Claire, Spencer and Garrett; Kelsey and Ethan. Fondly remembered by Amanda Gibson. She will be missed by her siblings: Doug Reeves, Rose and David Ferrier, Pat and Bill Stortz, Donna and Larry Love; and by her in-laws: Marian Reeves, Bev Reeves, Barb Reeves, Roy Rosebrugh, Bill Wagner, Bill and Audrey Gibson, Terry and Joanne Gibson, Gary Gibson, Muriel Gibson, and Marilyn Gibson. She will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Mary is predeceased by her parents Albert and Ruby Reeves, her siblings: Norm, Albert, Harold, Ron and Bob Reeves, Ella Rosebrugh, Josie Wagner, Rene and Gerry Schoular, Louise Reeves, Ruthie McLellan, Beatrice and George Grimes; her in-laws Gordon and Hazel Gibson; and brothers-in-law Jim and Larry Gibson. Mom and Grandma, is, and remains in our hearts. She is a shining example of unconditional love, gratitude for life, and a joyful way of loving each day…surrounded by family. Visitation was held on Thursday, February 16th from 7:00 – 9:00pm at the England Funeral Home, 294 Main Street South, Mount Forest. A funeral service celebrating Mary’s life was held at First Baptist Church, 116 Fergus Street North, Mount Forest on Friday, February 17th at 1:00pm, with visitation held at the church prior to the service from 12:00 – 12:45pm.
