It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Ronald (Ron) David George on January 9th, 2023 at the age of 75. Ron will be greatly missed by his soul mate Deborah (Deb) Neil-George. Remembered lovingly by his children Sherry (Curt), Richard (Stacey), Michael (Michelle) and stepchildren Sherri and Eddie (Lisa). Cherished grandfather of Nicole (Bobby), Austin (Gaby), Logan, Lauren, Blake, Samuel, Delaney, Brianna, Noah, Adam and Olivia. Great-grandfather of Kaden, Mila and Hazel Mae. Survived by his siblings Allan (Pat), Lloyd (Ruth), Cathleen (late Barrie), Marion (Bruce) and Linda (Gord). Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Jean George and brother James. Ron was born in Grand Falls, Newfoundland and raised in Fergus Ontario. He worked in the car industry for years before returning to his passion of running heavy equipment which took him to Northern Alberta. Ron spent his retirement years playing snooker with his buddies at the Legion Cambridge Branch 121. The family would like to thank all the wonderful Nurses and Doctor’s at St. Mary’s Hospital for their compassionate care. A special thank you to Tracy in the 6th floor unit. Ron was deeply loved by his family and will be missed terribly. Cremation has taken place. Per Ron’s request there will be no service.
