GAMMIE, Wayne; 1948 – 2015. Passed away suddenly at his home in Fergus on January 24, 2015. Beloved husband of Carol Gammie (nee Bowyer) for 44 years. He will be sadly missed by daughter Marj (Bill), Amber, Megan, Brianne and Serina of Victoria, daughter Jackie (Scott), Jesse, Charles and Colton of Fergus and son Doug (Monika), Klaudia and Alex of Milton. Survived by brother Gordon (Gail), Tracy and Corey of Fergus and sister-in-law Pat (Mike), Brian and Michael of Nanaimo. Wayne was predeceased by his parents Harold and Pete (Beatrice) Gammie of Elora and Dorothy and Cliff Young of Elora. Wayne spent over 25 years in the navy and moved back to Fergus when he retired. He was a long time Legion member and was active in the community. Details of Wayne’s service will be posted at Graham Giddy Funeral Home when they have been finalized. Fair winds and following seas.
