Gadke, Bessie Jean (nee Holtom): Passed away suddenly at the Stratford General Hospital as the result of a motor vehicle accident on Thursday September 2, 2010 in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Fred J. Gadke. Loving mother of Joan and Jim Weiler of Cambridge, Lloyd and Elizabeth (Liz) Gadke of Palmerston, Marjorie and Andy Schlesak of Cambridge, Betty Jean and Keith Quigley of Harriston, Bryan and Carol Gadke of Cambridge and Bernice and Ronald Wilson of Kitchener. Much loved grandmother of 20 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Also survived by her son-in-law Bill Jones and his wife Bertha of Cambridge. Bessie will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Predeceased by one daughter Katherine Elizabeth Jones, and one infant son Frederick John (twin brother to Joan), three sisters Evelyn French, Irene Stewart and Hazel Gadke and five brothers Alex, Bill, Bruce, Roy and Jack Holtom. The family received friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, Palmerston on Monday, September 6, 2010. Rev. Mel Sauer conducted the Funeral Service in the Palmerston United Church on Tuesday September 7, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Palmerston Cemetery.
