It is with great sadness but gratitude for a life well lived, we share the passing of our Mom, grandma, great grandma and great great grandma in her 97th year. Dear wife of Mervyn Wenzel and the late Robert (1984). Beloved mom of Jane (2016) and Jim Steller (2022), Jim (2006) and Elaine, Fred and Cheri, Doug & Chris, John & Sandra, Mary & Joe Van den Borre, Betty & Brian Wagner and Lorie and Cam Forbes. Grandma will be deeply missed by her 22 grandkids, 35 great grandkids (two more on the way) and 1 great granddaughter. Dear sister of Gladys Aitken and George Mitchell. The Family will receive friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, Palmerston on Friday January 12, 2024 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. The celebration of Fran’s life will be held in the James Street United Church on Saturday January 13, 2024 at 1:00pm. Spring interment in Derryadd Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to MRI campaign Palmerston District Hospital Foundation or James Street United Church.
