Foster, Joseph Norman; Closed his eyes peacefully, for the last time, with his family by his side, on Tuesday, May 29, 2012. Joe Foster, in his 64th year, was the beloved husband of Gayle. He was the devoted father of JW (Holly) and Nicole (Jake) and the loving grandfather of Lachlan and Duncan. Joe is survived by his two brothers Paul (Merle) and John. Loyal companion of Karma. He was predeceased by his parents William and Edith (nee McColl) Foster and by his brother Robert. Joe dedicated 41 years of exemplary service to the University of Guelph, Department of Biomedical Sciences. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Friday, June 1, 2012 from 12-2pm. A private interment of ashes will take place at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Guelph.
