FORSYTHE, Margaret Isabel (nee Fair)

Of Guelph, passed away peacefully and tranquilly at Hospice Wellington on Wednesday, November 20, 2019, in her 96th year. Predeceased by her husband K. “Max” Forsythe (2002), and two sons, David (2018, Regina) and Kenneth (2016, Slocan). Survived and loved by her sister, Kathleen Pollard (Aunt Kate to the family), and her sons William (Debora) of Fergus, Robert (Jane) of Elora and Peter (Shelagh) of Guelph. Cherished by her grandchildren Christa, Mike, Ashley, Jessica, Logan, Grace, Katie, Maxworth, Scott, Hayley, Patrick and Timothy. Great Grandma to Rowan, Sinead, Maxworth, Aurora, Ellie, Poppy and Tilly. Also survived too many Fair nieces and nephews to count. Lifetime member of Chalmers and Three Willows United, dedicated volunteer at many organizations in the community over many years. Friends were received at the Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Saturday, November 23, from 1:00 – 4:00pm and at Three Willows United Church, 577 Willow Rd., Guelph on Sunday, November 24 from 1:00 – 2:00pm. Funeral service was held at Three Willows United Church on Sunday, November 24, 2019 at 2:00pm. Reception followed in the church hall. A private family burial will be held at Eramosa Union (Johnson) Cemetery. Donations, if desired, to either Hospice Wellington or The Elliott Community, both of which provided exemplary care and “caring” to our mother over her last days and years.
