In 1965, following his love of cars, he began a career as a car salesman that lasted until 1982. He then joined the Board of Education for 5 years until his retirement. Alex and Doreen had fond memories of the winters spent in Bradenton, Florida in their later years. Many thanks to the staff at the Headwaters Healthcare Hospital and the Avalon Retirement Lodge both in Orangeville. If desired, donations in his memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice. A celebration of his life will be held at a future date.
