Forler, Irene; Passed away at St Mary’s General Hospital in Kitchener on Saturday, March 8, 2008. Irene Forler the former Irene Niergarth of Elmira and formerly of Howick twp, beloved wife of the late Lloyd Forler in her 86th year. Dear mother of Donna Bateman (Terry) of Ariss, loving grandmother of Sara Bateman, Elizabeth Morris and Rachelle Bateman and cherished great grandmother of Kathrine and Terri. Also survived by 2 sisters Jean Rebel of Kitchener, Doris Eagles of Florida and 1 brother Harold Niergarth of Newfoundland. Predeceased by 3 sisters Beatrice, Verna and Lucille. A Memorial Service of Remembrance was held at Bethany United Church, 4th Line East of Pilkington twp, Ariss on Wednesday March 12, 2008 at 10:00am. Memorial donations to Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society may be made through the Garrett Funeral Chapel in Clifford. (519-327-8160).
