FORBES, Iain – at Saugeen Valley Nursing Center, Mount Forest on Saturday, January 21, 2017 in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Ethel Forbes, and father of Fraser Forbes and his wife Barbara of Edmonton, Bruce Forbes and his wife Michele of Stouffville, Cameron Forbes and his wife Lorie of Harriston, Douglas Forbes and his wife Barbara of R.R. 3, Clifford, and Ellen Forbes of Calgary, AB. Sadly missed by 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Remembered by his sister-in-law Joan Forbes of Toronto and her family, Heather and Ron MacKay, and Ewan Forbes, and by Ethel’s family. Predeceased by his brother Gordon Forbes, and great-grandaughter Callie Forbes. Friends may call at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Friday, February 3rd where a Legion Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m., followed by visitation from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, February 4th at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception at the Royal Canadian Legion, Harriston.
