The Man. The Legend…
It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Randy, on Monday, November 19, 2012 at his home. Randy will forever be missed by his loving wife, and best friend Mary (Cushing) of 32 years. He will now be riding into the wind with Mary on her motorcycle. Forever loved and remembered by his daughters Chantel and Brittany (Rob). Randy will be watching, and encouraging Chanty to put down the hair and makeup brushes, to get out the door on time. He will be Britt’s Guardian Angel as she travels to the remote destinations he would never want her to go. Randy will be Robbie’s caddie on the golf course ensuring he gets his hole-in-one. Randy’s spirit will be forever carried on by his identical twin and partner in crime Sandy (Jenny) and their two daughters Caitlin and Jacquelin. Dearly missed by his older brother John (Shirley). His sense of humour and the love he showed to his family and friends will be missed by all. Randy kept his head up and his stick on the ice, during these past few years. He will always be on Jamie, Tye and Brock’s shoulder assisting them on game winning goals. At Randy’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral. A celebration of Randy’s life will take place on Saturday, December 15th, 2012 at the Fergus Arena between 1-4pm. With special memories and toasts to begin at 2:30pm.
