Heaven gained another angel today, Dean Everett Ferguson, of Shelburne, passed away at Dufferin Oaks Long Term Care, Shelburne on Sunday, October 6th, 2019 in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of the late Margaret Ferguson (2012). Dear father of Dorothy Terry (Edward 2017) of Thornton, Gordon Ferguson (Nancy 2007) of Goderich, Larry Ferguson (Marry Ellen) of Cheltenham, Kennie Ferguson (Judy) of Guelph and Isabel Carr (George 2017) of Temagmi. Cherished Grandpa of Jeannette (Jamie), Pam (Tex), Carson (Paula), Teresa (Brad), Gord Jr., Mike (BJ), Josh, Danny (Nash), Krystal (Mike), Samantha (Chris), Stacey (Anthony), Kerry (Skyler), Colleen (Pete), Sherry (Andy) and many great-grandchildren. Survived by sisters Phyllis, Mary, Shirley, Isabel and sister-in-law Joan. Predeceased by son Donnie Ferguson (2017) and brother Jack Ferguson (2009). A funeral service celebrating Dean’s life will be held at the England Funeral Home, 294 Main Street South, Mount Forest on Friday, October 11th at 1:00pm, with visitation being held prior to the service from 12:00 – 12:45pm. Interment at Swinton Park Cemetery, Swinton Park. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Dufferin Oaks (cheques payable to The County of Dufferin) would be appreciated by the family.
