Charlotte Effie Ruth Feairs passed away peacefully, after a short illness with cancer, at Innisfree House, Kitchener on Monday, October 21, 2024 at the age of 75. Ruth died ten years to the day after her mother, Josephine. Cherished sister of Elizabeth (Bill) Wallace, Joan (David) Wishnevski, all of New Westminster, B.C., Eleanor (Robert) Mueller of Cambridge, and Jim (Fran) Feairs of Peterborough. Dear sister-in-law of Raymond Owens of Vancouver, B.C. Dearly loved and sadly missed by her nieces and nephews: Laurie Wallace, Scott (Karen) Wallace, Kristine Schnurr (Dean Demontigny), Joseph Schnurr, Jonathan (Emily) Feairs, and eleven great-nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, James and Josephine Feairs, sister Margaret Owens, nephew David Feairs, and brother-in-law Joseph Schnurr. Ruth was very supportive of and dedicated to every generation of her family. She was a caring daughter and sister and a cheerleader to her nieces and nephews. She was an avid reader and singer who appreciated all kinds of music, a gardener and lover of nature and all animals. Ruth was the pianist at Morrison United Church, Cedarville for more than 35 years. A Celebration of Ruth’s Life will be held at England Funeral Home, 294 Main Street South, Mount Forest on Monday, November 4th at 1:00pm with visitation from 12:00-12:45pm.
