Faulkner, Marjory Irene passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 5th, 2012 in her 91st year after a lifetime commitment to her church, family, community and country. Predeceased by her beloved husband Ross. Loved Mother of Colleen and Greg Evans of Orillia, Ronald and Anne-Marie Faulkner of Harriston, and Audrey and Tom Henderson of Guelph. Much loved Grandmother of Jason and Lina Evans of Toronto, Tiffany Evans and Wayne Hanson of Victoria, Melissa and Ralph O’Callaghan of Toronto, Ryan Evans of Victoria, Christina and Dean Sandberg of Calgary, Alexander and Shannon Faulkner of Harriston, Jonathan and Sheila Faulkner of Harriston, Patricia de Boer of Uganda, Derek and Jen Henderson of Guelph, Carla Henderson and Jacub Fernandes of Toronto, and Dean Henderson and Chelsea Barker of Guelph, and great grandmother of Elise, Samuel, Lauren, Natasha and Cian. Predeceased by siblings Myrtle Fletcher, Jennie Dixon, David Cardy, Freda McCormack, Ina Noer, and Harold Cardy. Will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews and their families and many friends. Marjory was awarded Life Member in the Women’s Institute, the Harriston and District Horticultural Society and the United Church Women. She will also be remembered fondly for her baking, her quilts and her passion for politics. Friends may call at Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, 44 John Street S., Harriston on Friday, April 13th from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Saturday, April 14th at Harriston United Church. Interment in Harriston Cemetery. Reception in church hall.
