Of Formosa passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Chapman House, Owen Sound, in his 68th year. Gord was born and raised in Guelph and was predeceased by his parents William and Violet (nee Pye) Emslie. He loved his family, his golden retrievers, all types of woodworking and working on his classic cars. Beloved husband of Jill Gray and father to cherished daughter Tina (Sheldon) Penney of Newfoundland; grandfather to Gavyn and Kayn Penney of Newfoundland; great-grandfather to Emma and Amelia and brother to siblings Betty (Warren) Embro of Kitchener and Wendy (David) Ward of Florida. The family is honouring Gord’s wishes for cremation with no formal services.
