Edwards, Fred; Peacefully at Louise Marshall Hospital, Mt. Forest , surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday April 03, 2008 in his 76th year. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie Edwards(2005). Good friend of Dorothy Watson of Mt. Forest. Dear father of Julie (Michael) McDermott of Guelph, David (Odette) Edwards of Holstein, Wayne Edwards of Mount Forest and Jennie(Bill) Edwards of Cambridge. Special devoted grandpa of Peter, Gregory and Colleen McDermott and Ashely and Brandon Edwards, all of Guelph. Survived by his sister-in-law Kathryn Edwards of Guelph, brothers-in-law Richard(Bud) (Arvella) Steinberg of Waterloo and Al(Shirley) Steinberg of Wellesley, and sister-in-law Joyce(Robert) Cruickshank of Kitchener.. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Emily Edwards, brother Archie and his wife Betty, brother Wilbert, sister Iva Edwards, sister-in-law Jeanette Steinberg and brother-in-law Ron Lorentz. The family received friends at the Crawford Funeral Home 243 George St., Arthur on Sunday April 06, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service was held from St. John Lutheran Church, Clifford on Monday April 07, 2008 at 2 p.m. Cremation followed. Remembrances to St. John Lutheran Church, Clifford or Cancer Patient Services Corporation, Mt. Forest would be greatly appreciated by the family.
