DAVIES, Richard “Gerald” Wayne April 08, 1952 – April 29, 2015. It is with deepest sorrow we announce the passing of Gerald after his courageous battle with cancer. Gerald was born in Fergus, Ontario. He moved to B.C. in 1980 and worked in the masonry construction trade as a Bricklayer. He enjoyed working outside in the fresh air and took pride in the strength needed to get the project done. Gerald is survived by his loving wife Sandra, step children Erin Stoll (Kevin) and Clayton Melnyk (Jenel) and grandchildren Edie, Kalen, Kristian, and Chase. He was the dear brother of Joy McIntosh, Alinda Morrison (Dennis Morris), Terry Davies, and bother-in-law Vern Trask, all of Ontario. He is predeceased by his parents Rose and Fred Davies and his sister Gail Trask. Gerald will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. A Celebration of Gerald’s Life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the B.C. Cancer Agency or Surrey Memorial Hospital would be appreciated.
