Of Drayton passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family at the Royal Terrace Nursing Home, Palmerston on Friday, June 24, 2022 at the age of 71. Loving husband, best friend and soul mate of Nita (Brunkard) for 52 years. Dear father of Chris and Ange Culp of Drayton, Lisa Culp and Jerry Nadarajah of Scarborough and Nick Culp of Drayton. Cherished grandpa of Abby, Chloe, Shawn, Owen and Brooke. Brother of Isabel Grose of Drayton, Don and Jane Culp of Drayton, Judy and Ted Watt of Arthur, Cathy Culp of Kitchener, Rob and Kelly Culp of Drayton. Brother-in-law of Glen and Mary Brunkard, Nadine Jones, Paul and Margie Brunkard, Nancy and Paul Wagner, Sandra and Bob Wilson, Pat and Jim Fuller, Linda Brunkard, Faye Van Dyke and Charmayne Crowe. Stewart will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his sisters Phyllis Groshaw and Cindy Culp and brothers-in-law Doug Groshaw, Bryan Brunkard, Pete Van Dyke, Leonard Jones and Mario Tandardini. Stew was humble, kind and had a caring and loving heart. To honour Stewart’s wishes cremation has taken place. The family will have a private interment in Drayton Cemetery. Please join the family for a casual afternoon in Celebration of Stewart’s life at the Moorefield Community Centre on Saturday, August 6, 2022 from 2:00 to 5:00pm. The family would like anyone attending to share a favourite memory of Stewart as part of their memory book. In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy donations to Drayton Minor Hockey, the Palmerston Hospital Foundation or the Royal Terrace Residents Council would be appreciated by the family.
