CULP, Catherine Ann

Of Kitchener passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital on January 29, 2023 at age 64 following a courageous battle with cancer. Cathy was known in the KW area and beyond as the voice on the phone and the owner of Contractors Dispatch and Kate’s Fries in Arthur. Cathy was blessed with the ‘gift of the gab’ and loved her phone chats with her brokers, contractors, family and friends. Cathy was a strong, independent lady and could put a smile on your face with her signature signoff phrase ‘You Got‘er’. Cathy is survived by siblings Isabel Grose of Drayton; Don and Jane Culp of Drayton; Judy and Ted Watt of Arthur; Nita Culp of Drayton; Rob and Kelly Culp of Drayton. Predeceased by her parents Russell (2006) and Anna (2008) Culp her sister and brother-in-law Phyllis (1998) and Doug (2002) Groshaw, brother Stewart Culp (2022) and sister Cindy Culp (2021). Family meant the world to Cathy, she was loved by her nieces and nephews Jeff, Jim and Liz, John and Shelley and Jan Grose; Terri and Bert Miller, John and Karen, Tom and Dwayne and Katy Groshaw; Brad and Steve Culp; Chris and Angie, Nick, Lisa Culp and Jerry; Roxanne and Bill Hostrawser, Charlotte, Rhonda and Dave and Glenn and Lenette Watt; Kassi Culp, Teszalyn and Mike Roantree and Daphne Culp as well as many great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Cathy will be truly missed by her two fur babies and her dear friend Tammy. A celebration of life will be held in the Moorefield Community Centre on April 29, 2023 from 2:00 to 5:00pm with remembrances being shared at 3:00pm. As expressions of sympathy donations to Elmira Community Living would be appreciated by the family.
