Obituary

Don Crispin, 73, of Fergus, Ontario passed away at his home on April 5, 2021 surrounded by his wife Denise Crispin (nee: Page) and his children Paul (Sherrie) Page, Sheri Crispin (Wayne Church), Nancy (Terry) Gallipeau, Bridget Crispin (Norm Bennett) and Stephen Crispin (Brenda Monge). Donald was born to his parents June Toal (nee: Piper) and Donald A. Crispin on April 10, 1947 in Rockwood, Ontario. Don was married to Denise Crispin (nee: Page) on June 13, 1969. On June 13, 2021, Don and Denise would have celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary. Don is survived by his sisters Gwen McLean and Brenda (Mel) Le-Bar (nee: Crispin). He will be dearly missed by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Don is predeceased by his parents, June Toal (nee: Piper) and Donald A. Crispin. Don had many hobbies. Some of his favourite pastimes included colouring with his cat, Snowball, playing fetch with Stormy, working on his truck, polishing and tinkering on his trucks, going to Tim Horton’s, going for drives up North and driving in snowstorms. He loved having picnics with his wife, Denise, his children, family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Don may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (Bladder or Prostate Cancer Research Funds) or to a charity of your choice. Don’s family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to nurses Heather and Jeannette, as well as the staff at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home in Fergus, all for their care and compassion during this difficult time. Cremation has taken place. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a Celebration of Life is to be held at a later date, when family and friends are able to gather safely.
