Clow, Gordon Frederick; 77, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2012 surrounded by his family. Born in 1935 at the family farmhouse in Erin Township to Annie (Tansley) and Frederick Clow, Gord was subsequently joined by siblings Ron (Joanne), Ruth (Ken) and Grace (Paul). In May 1958 he married his Earth Angel, Margaret (Dennis) and together they had 2 children. During this time Gord honed his skills on his other great love, gunsmithing. Today custom crafted pieces bearing the ‘G Clow’ signature are found far and wide. Friends and family will greatly miss Gord’s joking and story telling, both of which gave him great pleasure. He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Margaret; son Kevin (Heather), daughter Carmen (Jeff); 3 precious grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The Clow family would also like to extend our gratitude to the wonderful staff at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Centre for their attentiveness and loving care. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Gord’s name to either the Alzheimer’s Society or the Canadian Lung Association.
