Born in the farming community of Belwood; to all who knew him, he was a warm friendly gentleman, with a gentle sweet spirit, a strong work ethic and a sense of humour that always shone through; often captured in his grin or a little sparkle in his eyes. In 1952, He married Marian Isabel Martin (nee Paton) and together they raised four children. Sadly he was predeceased by his stepson Ronald (Ronnie) Martin in 1955. In his 94th year, Wilfred passed into eternity on June 15, 2019, leaving behind his beloved wife, Marian of 68 years; his two sons Larry (Karen) and Randy (Julia) and his daughter Debbie (Don Speers). Blessed with 11 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren, Grandpa Clark will be greatly missed but gave to each, cherished memories to treasure and share. Great gratitude is extended to staff at Heritage River and Wellington Terrace for the compassionate care given to our Dad. As well, we give thanks to Dr. John Stickney. The family has chosen a private family memorial service. There will not be a visitation preceding the service; however the family would encourage those who knew their father to take a few moments to honour him in your own way. For those that wish to make a donation in his remembrance please consider donating to the Alzheimer’s Society.
