May 4, 1953 - April 5, 2025

It is with heavy hearts to announce the passing of Gloria Irene Clark, after her lengthy brave battle. Gloria will be deeply missed by her husband Michael Clark, and her children, sons Justin Hutton (Arlyn) and Jeffrey Hutton (Shannon). Stepchildren, Sharon Clark (Peter), Rachel Clark, and David Clark (Amy). She was proud Grandmother to Cameron, Bennett, Kaleb, Sebastian, Natalie, Hailey and Zoey. Gloria is survived by her siblings, Barb Fooks (Dave), Brenda Dynerowicz, and Peter Ney. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephew, their spouses and their children. She will be missed by her extended family, the Clark family, friends, colleagues and her special companion dog Taz. Predeceased by her parents Ronald and Muriel Ney. She was a successful realtor working around the clock and balanced this with raising her sons independently. Gloria loved spending time with her family travelling, fishing, being outdoors at the cottage and on the water. She married her soulmate Michael in 2002. They had a wonderful life together and had great stories to tell of their many adventures travelling. She had a contagious energy and laugh, an eye for decorating and loved planning surprises or an event, which she did often. She courageously fought her battle with cancer with grace. She was a strong determined woman and lived her life to the fullest despite her diagnosis. Most recently for the past 3 years lived at St Joseph’s long term care facility. Mike was a daily visitor there and was always at her side. Special thank you to St. Joesph’s Health Centre, especially to the staff, doctors, nurse practitioner and PSW’s of 2N who compassionately cared for her. Visitation will take place on Thursday, April 10 from 6-8pm at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David Streer South, Fergus, ON N1M 2L5. A second visitation will take place on Friday, April 11 from 10-11am, with a Funeral Service being held in the chapel at 11am and then interment at Belsyde Cemetery. Following the service and burial, guests are invited back to the Funeral Home for a time of fellowship and refreshments upstairs in the Wellington Room. Elevator access is available. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Guelph or the Centre Wellington Food Bank.
