Chapman, John Ian; After a brief illness on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at the Guelph General Hospital in his 63rd year. Beloved husband and best friend of Doris Chapman of Arthur. Dear father of Carol McIntosh and her husband Bruce of Arthur. Loving brother of Judith Chapman of Arthur. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Stephanie and Andrew. Predeceased by his parents Gordon and Madeline Chapman and his son John Chapman (1985). The family received friends at the Crawford Funeral Home 243 George St., Arthur on Thursday, July 2, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service was held from the Crawford Chapel on Friday, July 3, 2009 at 2pm. Interment Greenfield Cemetery, Arthur followed. Remembrances to the Children’s Wish Foundation-Southwestern Ontario or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated by the family.
