Chamberlain, Edmund; Passed away peacefully with his family at his side, on September 10th, 2010 at Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus. Edmund Chamberlain in his 91st year. Remaining to forever cherish Ed’s memory are his loving wife of 64 years Beatrice (Whitelaw), his children Linda Sims (Jack) of Cambridge, Betty Sobol (Ed) of Ariss and George Chamberlain (Faye) of Belwood, his eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and his sister Mabel Chalmers. Ed is predeceased by 11 siblings. Family received friends at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 37 Church St. East in Elora, on Wednesday, September 15th from 7 to 9pm. Funeral Service for Ed was conducted at Bethany United Church, located at the corner of 4th Line East and Sideroad 10 in Centre Wellington Township, on Thursday, September 16th at 2:30pm. Interment followed at the Elora Cemetery. Memorial donations can be directed to Bethany United Church or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
