75, passed away peacefully at home in Fergus, Ontario on March 24, 2021 with his family at his side. He is survived by his wife Heather, his brother Lloyd (Rosanne), his son Andrew (Christine) and his grandchildren Sydney, Mya, Zachary, and Liam. He will be missed and lovingly remembered by family and friends. Whether it was playing games with his grandchildren, helping with a home repair, enjoying good times around the euchre table or at the curling rink, he always did it with enthusiasm and a warm smile. Brian worked at a number of professions over the years; soil scientist, university lecturer, farmer, and carpenter to name a few, but ultimately, he was a shepherd who chose his own path through life and found his way to happiness. He was always ready to share his insights and experiences and to lend a helping hand to those around him. A heartfelt acknowledgement to Bob and Anne for their unwavering support, generosity and most importantly their friendship over the last thirty years. The family would also like to thank the staff of the Oncology Department at Groves General Hospital, especially Sandra for her consistent kindness and care. A celebration of Brian’s life will be planned for a later date. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in his memory would be greatly appreciated.
