Burn, Anita Gwynne (nee Tucker); of Fergus, Ontario. Passed peacefully in Fergus on October 26, 2010 after a brief illness. Born July 4th, 1930 in Waubaushene Ontario, Gwynne was the youngest child of John and Mary Tucker. Loving mother to Jay Burn of Stratford, Stacey Burn of Inverhaugh and Matthew Burn of Fergus. Beloved Nana to Elise, Tyler, Avalon and Amber. Sister to Frankie Allsopp of Midland, Kenny Tucker of Orr Lake and Wife Margaret Tucker, Joyce Reid of Sebringville and Husband Milton Reid, and Margaret Neel of Oaklahoma and Husband Ward Neel. Predeceased by Siblings Leona Brown, Marjorie Wilson, Audrey Swaile, Jean Hebner, Barbara Moreau, Ellwood Tucker, Elmer Tucker and Alvin Tucker.Mother-in-Law to Jennifer Burn of Fergus. Gwynne moved from Waubaushene to Oakville where she raised her children. She then moved to Elora, Ontario where she owned and operated numerous successful retail shops for many years. Gwynne will be remembered as one of the original “Mill Streeters” and will be missed by many. A small private memorial will be held at her home between 2-5pm on November 21, 2010.
