BROWN, David “Tractor” Alexander

August 29, 1956 - May 12, 2023

It is with broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of David Alexander Brown. David passed away unexpectedly with his fur babies at his side on Friday, May 12, 2023 in Didsbury, Alberta in his 67th year. David is survived by his best friend and partner, Tammy Ford; step-children: Kristi (Travis), Nicole (Tanner), Ryan (Paige), and Renee (Chris); and his grandchildren: Conner, Miles, Zachary, Saharra, and Aleah. David was predeceased by his parents Glenn and Shirley Brown of Mount Forest. His sisters in Ontario are so thankful for his recent visit. He was a loving brother to Cheryl, Janet (Dave), and Heather (Dave). He was predeceased by his sister Margaret and her husband Douglas and baby sister Lois Marie. He will be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews: Denise (Tony), Kevin (Kim), Holly (Kevin), and Jason. Predeceased by his nephew-in-law Paul. Also sadly missed by his great-nieces and nephews: Landon, Hailey, Trevor, Lyla, and Devin. David moved from Egremont Township, Ontario to Alberta in 1980 with his good friend Larry Reid. He worked many years as a heavy equipment operator for Bettensons and loved operating his “toys”. He was a faithful Toronto Maple Leaf fan and watched his WWE show every week. David also loved being outdoors relaxing with his fur babies and watching his grandchildren play. Many happy hours were spent looking at the mountains and breathing the fresh country air. Cremation has taken place and a service will be held in Alberta for family and friends there. A celebration of life will be held at the England Funeral Home, 294 Main Street South, Mount Forest, on Friday, June 9, 2023 at 11:00am, with visitation from 10:00-10:45am. Interment to follow at Mount Forest Cemetery.
