Patricia Boweraerts passed away suddenly on 11th November 2024 at St Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener. Patricia was born 26th November 1944 in Glasgow, Scotland to Jimmy and Catherine McGrory. She was a sister to Jean and Jim and a sister-in-law to Iris, John, and Wilma, aunt to Richard, James, Nicola, Kathryn and Susan and great aunt to Caris, Erin, Liam, Fallon, Emily, and Katie. At the age of twenty-one she immigrated to Toronto, Canada to pursue a career in education, specializing in children with special needs. Once she graduated, she moved house to Milton and worked at the Trillium school in Milton. On her retirement she moved to Fergus to begin the next phase of her life. Her greatest strength was her faith, and she lived it daily through prayer and her church, St. Joseph’s in Fergus. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 760 St. David St. North in Fergus, on Friday, November 22nd, 2024 at 10:00am, Fr. Robert Hétu officiating. Interment will take place at St. Mary & St. Joseph Roman Catholic Cemetery in Elora. Patricia will be sadly missed by her family and friends and will always stay in our hearts and thoughts. Memorial donations can be directed St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Fergus. Rest in Peace PATRICIA.
