It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of Anne Botta. Anne passed on Wednesday March 30th, 2022 at the Georgetown Hospital after struggling the past year with cancer. Anne, in her 70th year, was the daughter of Mary and Don Bexton (both predeceased), of Everton, Ontario. Anne was the loving wife to John Botta for 20 years. She was the caring stepmom to John’s three children: Colin, Derek and Vikki and a loving grandmother to Isabella, Jessica, Gregory, Tahlia, the late Jack, and great grandmother to Leo. Anne will be forever loved and never forgotten by her three siblings, Jane Bexton, Mary Paulsen (Howard) and Elizabeth Henderson (Ken). She also leaves behind nieces and nephews; Catherine, Matthew, Jacob, Rebecca, Andrew and Ben. Anne will be dearly missed by Tracey Botta. Always up for a challenge, Anne had taken ballet lessons, obtained her pilots license out of the Toronto Island Airport, and most recently was taking French lessons. She was an avid reader and a devoted Potter Head. Anne and John loved and enjoyed many animals on their hobby farm over the years. Their latest being a mini donkey named ‘Paddy’, a dog named ‘Toolie’, and a cat ‘PV2’. Anne had been retired after 25 years as Office Manager at Feherguard Products in Milton. She is missed by many co-workers. There will be no service at this time, however a celebration of Anne will be arranged sometime early summer. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated by the family to either The Donkey Sanctuary in Guelph or to the Cancer Assistance Services of Halton Hills, in Anne’s honour.
