BOLGER, Ann (nee Bruder)

October 7, 1933 - August 10, 2022

Passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Walter Bolger (2009). Loving mother of Patricia Jenkins (Roy), Bruce (Shirley), Terry (late Kathy), Dave (Gloria) and Tim (Connie). Dear grandmother of Sandy (Aimee), Chris (Amy), Derek (Sandra), Angela (Scott), Aaron, Erica, Chad (Tammy), Ryan (Shannon), Lindsay, Mark (Kyla), Bethany and Amber. Great-grandmother of 26 great-grandchildren 3 great-great grandchildren. Dear sister of Paul (Margaret) Bruder. Sister-in-law of Theresa Bruder and Vince Kurtz. Predeceased by her infant son Walter John Jr. (1955), granddaughter Leeanne Robyn (1985), parents Albert and Annetta Bruder, brother James Bruder (1971) and sister Grace Kurtz (2019). Ann was a faithful member of St. Boniface R.C. Church and the CWL of the church. She also was a member of Ponsonby Women’s Institute and the Waterloo Horticultural Society. Ann loved music and sang and toured with the Chord Spinners. She was an employee in Food and Nutrition at Grand River Hospital. A special thank you to Bob Fehrenbach and his family for their friendship and good times shared with mom. Thank you to the staff at Heritage River in Elora where mom lived for 2 years. The family also extends thanks to the Radiation and Oncology Teams at Grand River Regional Cancer Centre for their care and compassion. Ann’s family would like to sincerely thank Dr. Chris Lund and the whole palliative care team of Homecare WW who made it possible for mom to stay at home with her loving family. You will never be forgotten. Our family so appreciated all of you. Ann’s family received relatives and friends from 2-5pm on Monday, August 15, 2022 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519- 749-8467. Funeral Mass was at St. Boniface R.C. Church, 1355 Maryhill Rd., on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 11am. Interment St. Boniface Cemetery. Reception followed at Ariss Valley Golf Course.
