Passed away peacefully, at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus, surrounded by his family on Wednesday, January 26th in his 64th year. Gary leaves behind his loving partner Elaine of Mount Forest, as well as his dear mother Vera Bilton, Royal Terrace Nursing Home, Palmerston. He is also loved and will be missed by his siblings, Barry and Elaine Bilton, Grand Valley, Marlene Blackburn, Fergus, Rod and Cathy Bilton, Fergus, and Rhonda and Steve O’Brien, Orillia. As well he will be remembered by his many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews. Gary also leaves Elaine’s family: Doris and Rob, Susie and Jim, Joe and Debbie, Aline and Brian, Lisa and James and their children. Gary grew up in the Belwood and Fergus areas and attended school there as well. Gary loved fishing from a very young age and continued enjoying throughout his life. He loved the peace and quiet and the serenity of the open water and the companionship of his furry friends. Gary was a dedicated employee and life-long trucker and was well respected in the industry. He leaves many memories and many long time friends from his career. At this time there will be no service and at Garys’ request, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will take place in the Spring. As expressions of sympathy, donations to SPCA (ontariospca.ca) would be appreciated or a charity of your choice.
