Beckingham, John Charles ‘Norman’; After a lengthy battle with alzheimer’s on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at the Caressant Care Nursing Home in Arthur. Norman in his 99th year of Fergus, formerly of Toronto. Husband of the late Winn (nee Morrison), 2006. Father of Linda Tonkin and husband Jeff of Fergus. Norman is survived by one brother Alexander Clifford Beckingham of Ottawa and a number of nieces and nephews. He is pre-deceased by 3 brothers and one sister. Resting at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St S., Fergus from 2-4 and 7-9pm on Thursday. The funeral service will be celebrated at the Central Pentecostal Church, 7674 Colborne Street, Elora on Friday, April 13, 2012 at 11am followed by cremation and burial of urn at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Rexdale.
