Beckham, Dr. L. Maurice; Graduated Medical School 1952 from University of Western Ontario in London. Practiced at Kitchener Waterloo Hospital and St. Mary’s Hospital for over 53 years as an Anesthetist. Following a lengthy illness on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at the Hospice Wellington in Guelph. Maurice Beckham of Elora in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Ann Marie Beckham (nee Prentice). Loving father of Scott (Susan) Beckham of Fergus, Mark and his wife Denise Beckham of Ariss and Richard Beckham of Elora. Dearly loved grandfather of Kathleen, Prentice and Molly. Dear brother of Norman and his wife Shirley Beckham of Woodstock. Maurice is survived by a number of nieces, nephews and other family members. Pre-deceased by his daughter Brenda Falk and her husband Phil and daughter-in-law Susan Beckham and his parents Lloyd and Viola Beckham. Maurice will be remembered by many for his gift of music at both Elora and Melville United Churches. The family received their friends at the GRAHAM A. GIDDY FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 280 ST. DAVID ST. S. FERGUS from 2-4 and 7-9pm on Saturday, November 5th. Funeral service was held at Melville United Church, corner of Tower and St. Andrew St W. in Fergus on Sunday, November 6th, 2011 at 3pm.
