Barton, Margaret (Peg) Ann (nee Beck) R.N. Quietly at the Wellington Terrace in Elora on Tuesday, January 8th, 2013. Peg Barton of Elora in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Barton (2007) and pre-deceased by daughter Wendy Birtch (1991), daughter in law Scotty (1985). Beloved mother of John and Sharon of Peterborough, Wallie of Guelph, and son in law Ralph and Nancy Birtch of Aurora. Loved grandmother of Terry (Sharon), Michael (Lynn), Steven (Lou), Kathy, Stephanie (Neil), Greg and Gillian (Mark). Peg is lovingly survived by 12 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Peg is survived by a number of nieces and nephews and other family in Canada, England, South Africa and Australia. She is also pre-deceased by all her brothers and sisters. She will be sadly missed by her loyal friends of the OES. A private family interment was held at the Elora Cemetery followed by a visitation at St. Johns’ the Evangelist Anglican Church, corner of Smith and Henderson Streets in Elora on Saturday, January 12th from
11:00 A.M. till 12:00 noon, at which time a complete funeral service was held at the church at 12:00pm, with Canon Hulse officiating at the service.
