BARTMAN, Carl Walter of Palmerston passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family at the Palmerston and District Hospital on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Marilyn (Rode) for 57 years. Brother of Grant Bartman and Irene Moore. Brother-in-law of Marion Bartman, Eric Jonasson, Harold and Susan Rode and Carolyn and Ron Harkness. Fondly remembered by 15 nieces and nephews, 31 great nieces and nephews, 2 great great nieces and nephews as well as by many friends. Predeceased by brothers Lloyd Bartman and his wife Anne Bruce Bartman and his wife Ivadelle, twin sisters Joan Bartman and Jean Bartman and niece Heather Harkness. To honour Carl’s wishes cremation has taken place. The family received friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, Palmerston on Thursday, July 6, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Pastor Ralph Dwarika will conduct the Memorial Service of Remembrance at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Listowel on Friday July 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Fairview Cemetery Listowel.
