In her 89th year she passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus on Tuesday March 25th, 2025. She is the beloved wife of Larrimore Duval Babineau in their 65th year of marriage. Loving and devoted mother to Mark, Michael (Rose), Susan (Howie), and Cindy (Mike). Proud and devoted grandmother to 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren with another on the way! She is the daughter of the late Jack Leon Howey and the late Janet Mabel Preston. She is the oldest sibling and predeceased by siblings Bill Howey, Janet Farr, Peter Lainsbury, and Jean Lainsbury, with one surviving sibling, Jack Howey, her youngest brother. We want to thank all the medical staff for the wonderful care provided for mom at both Palmerston and Groves Memorial hospitals as well as the committed PSW’s, her palliative nurse and the EMT’s that came into her home to help her these last 6 months. Thanks to everyone at Pharmasave in Drayton for such great care and understanding. Mom was a strong woman of faith and shared the Good News of Jesus with everyone she met. A Celebration of Life will take place on May 3rd, 2025 at 1pm at Alma Bible Church, 59 Peel St E, Alma, ON.
