Austin, Ross Howard; Passed peacefully on June 4, 2009 in his sleep at Bruce McDougall’s dairy farm near Fergus where he was an integral part of its operation for 15 years. He will be sadly missed by Bruce and the McDougall family. Born in Wellandport on September 21, 1940, he is survived by his two children Kimberley (Jonas) Stead and Ronald (Linda) and their mother Ruth. Grandad to Ashleigh, Alex, Austin, Heather, Colin, Pamela and Gloria and great grandad to Jayden. Predeceased by granddaughter Stephanie. Dear brother of Ken, Glen, Cleveland, Mary, Robert, Faye and Violet and the late Muriel, Merle, Murray and Dorothy. Lifelong friend of Chuck and Meryln Brooks of Niagara Falls. A memorial service was held at Barrie Hill United Church, 5702 Wellington Rd 29, R.R. 5, Rockwood on Sunday, June 7, 2009, at 2:30pm. Reception followed in the church hall. Memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 204-21 Surrey St. W., Guelph N1H 3R3 would be appreciated.
