It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Mom, Caroline Mabel Anderson on Wednesday, December 29th, 2021 at Sakura House Hospice in Woodstock, Ontario. Born in Montreal, Quebec on Friday, November 17, 1933. She passed away peacefully with family by her side, to join her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ and all those loved ones who went before her. Carol was predeceased by her parents John and Caroline Vokey. Beloved wife of the late Peter Anderson (2011) and stepson Paul Anderson. Survived by David Champagne, father of her children. Dearest and loving mother to Pam Champagne (Rick Hollowell), Gayle Bailey (Glen), Mark Champagne (Shelly), Leighanne Buckingham (Paul), Karen Flewelling (Brian) and David Champagne (Jane). Best Grandmother ever to Sarah Quirino, Mathew Wilson, Carolynne Champagne, Katherynne Martin, Robert Champagne, Jacquelynne Tietjen, Samuel Champagne, Joseph Champagne, Luke Champagne, Lindsay Buckingham, Mark Buckingham, Christopher Osborne, Corey Osborne, Genevieve Champagne, David Champagne, Andre Champagne, Vincent Champagne and 23 Great-Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, dear friends and BB her cat. Carol leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter and will not be forgotten by her kids, relatives and friends nor will she be forgotten for her annual Family Christmas Party, her cabbage rolls and famous tourtieres. She enjoyed life to its fullest and always had a good word to say and loved to travel, play golf along with her games from Bingo and Dutch Dice to Casinos. Special thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at Woodstock General Hospital and the wonderful staff at Sakura House.
