Alexander, Brian; passed away on May 7, at the age of 52, peacefully and at home in the loving arms of his partner and companion, Lee-Ann Obiago. For several weeks, Brian courageously battled complications from diabetes. He is survived by his parents Don and Shirley Alexander of Fergus and his sister Marilyn Alexander and partner Cathy Dawson of Guelph. Predeceased by his wife, Suzie Hill-Alexander. Loving stepfather to Jake LaCaze and his wife Megan. Proud grandfather to Brogan, all of Texas. Also lovingly remembered by a niece, many aunts, uncles and cousins. A talented tradesman, he was a proud and dedicated auto body mechanic for many years. Brian will be remembered by his family and his large circle of friends for his legendary and hilarious sense of humor. He will be forever and completely irreplaceable in our hearts. A private Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Brian’s life will be held on Sunday, May 25 at 2:00 p.m. at the Arboretum Centre on the grounds of the University of Guelph (entrance off College Avenue). The family will receive visitors from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetic Association and the Special Olympics of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
