Aitken, Mac; Passed peacefully on Friday, November 5th, 2010 at Hamilton General Hospital at the age of 82. Lifelong Fergus resident, WWII Merchant Navy member, founder of Fergus Decorating, plus Author and local Historian. Beloved husband of 61 years to Gladys, (nee Mitchell). Loving father of Rod and his wife Susan, Vic and his wife Mary Ellen, and Trina and her husband John Moore. Proud grandfather of Travis, Neil, Nic and his partner Sarah, Chris, Kory, Karly, Taylor, Whitney, and Alana. Great grandfather of Madison and Quentin. Friends were received at THOMSON FUNERAL HOME on Monday, November 8, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A service was held in the chapel on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at 11am. Interment at Belsyde Cemetery.
