Novice Fusion take three

The Centre Wellington Novice Fusion ‘AA’ team travelled to Caledon to play the Hawks on Dec. 4. Denver Feltham started the scoring in the first period, with an assist by Aidan Meyer.  

A goal from Wyatt Marsland and an assist by Nathan Long gave the Fusion a 2-0 win over Caledon and a shutout for goalie Zach Dickinson.

On Dec. 6 the Fusion were on the road again, this time to visit Stoney Creek. Fraser Clark scored in the second period for the lead, and Stoney Creek scored one to tie the game. Late in the third, Clark, assisted by Ryan McDougall, netted the go-ahead goal for a 2-1 win.

On Dec. 7 the Fusion were at home to play the St. Catharines Falcons and the Fusion scored all three goals in the first.  Brinley Wilson scored the first two goals, and Clark assisted by Kai Wycherley scored the third.

St. Catharines scored one goal late in the third, but the Fusion were able to record their third win in a row with a final score of 3-1.
