Norwell honors local veterans

Norwell students honoured veterans with the schools’ annual Remembrance Day service held on Nov. 7. Staff and students contributed photos of family members who are or were veterans.

The drama program students put on an amazing performance and the audience was captivated, officials say.

“Norwell’s thanks goes out to all of our veterans and their families.”

School cash online

Norwell is now offering school cash online. This convenient and secure method of payment for student’s fees will be the preferred method of receiving payment from students.

Parents can find the link on the school’s website in order to sign up for the program. Currently the school is offering Norwell Spirit wear and tumblers for sale.

Get Real

Norwell’s LGBTQ community hosted its first ever Creator’s Expo for Get Real on Nov. 10. This well attended event showcased local artists and musicians.

The event was originally founded at Western University in 2011 to help students understand the impact of language surrounding LGBTQ and discrimination. For more information check out www.thegetrealmovement.ca.

Midterm reports
