FERGUS – A North Perth man now faces assault, robbery and weapon charges in connection with an incident here on the weekend.
On May 8 at about 4:30pm, emergency crews were called to a house on Forfar Street in Fergus.
Wellington County OPP officials say a resident “sustained injuries from an unknown suspect.”
“The male was transported to a local hospital by Guelph-Wellington Paramedic Services with non-life threatening injuries,” police stated in a May 8 press release.
On May 11 police announced the victim was later released from hospital and a suspect charged.
Nathan Gene “Sterling” Didomizio, 18, of North Perth, was charged with assault with a weapon, robbery with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
He is to appear in Guelph court on July 28.
