ROCKWOOD – The Rockwood Farmers’ Market kicked off its 10th anniversary season on June 12 at Rockmosa Park.

CENTRE WELLINGTON – Classic rides and family activities were on hand at the CSN Hutten Collision car show in Fergus on June 15. Proceeds from the show are going to Make-A-Wish Canada.

WELLINGTON COUNTY – On the 25-acre Wicked Welly Farm & Apiary, the Viet family raises a variety of livestock and produces maple syrup and freeze-dried products, all of which are sold at their on-farm shop.

GUELPH – Yours in Native Spirit, an art exhibition honouring late Anishnaabe artist Richard Bedwash, opened on June 13 at the Art Gallery of Guelph.

FERGUS – Sensational Elora’s Pumpkin Day has become a much-anticipated community event, and Patricia Brown of Fergus has been at the forefront of its success since she first joined Sensational Elora’s board in 2014.

MOUNT FOREST – The Louise Marshall Hospital (LMH) Foundation’s fourth annual gala, with theme Adventures in Wonderland, was held at the Mount Forest and District Sports Complex on June 15.

CENTRE WELLINGTON – The first of what is expected to become an annual scholarship in memory of former Fergus hockey player Jeff Snowe was awarded this month to two local teens.
