A newly-hired communications officer is no longer working at the Town of Erin, CAO Nathan Hyde confirmed on Feb. 2.
Jessica Molisak was hired as the communications officer in December and “left” in January.
The reasons behind her departure are unclear.
“We don’t comment on staffing matters,” said Hyde.
“She’s not at the town.”
The posting for the position came in July 2017 following a “strategic realignment” of Erin’s workforce.
Hyde was unsure if the town will be replacing Molisak.
“We’re taking another look at it. I suspect that we will be making a final decision shortly, in terms of how to proceed,” said Hyde.
